GUL NIGHT SURF!

Photo courtesy of Dave A1 surf. The Gul night surf last weekend ticked all the right boxes! With fantastic weather, waves and performance's from the British surfers involved, thousands of people turned up to watch the event! Flying the flag for us was James Parry in the longboard and Obviously Ben Skinner in the open and longboard! Ben was on fire in the earlier rounds of the open on the Friday,busting 4 airs and 2 reverses in one heat,scoring best wave of the day,and for sure stand out surfer of the day.On Saturday he finally came un-stuck in the quarters good effort considering he does'nt normally ride a short board! In the longboard he dominated from the start once again getting the highest scores of the day, and a barrel in the final, to take the win over Nathan Carter 2nd, and a good effort from James Parry in 3rd! The open saw Newquay's Alan Stokes on top form,taking the win over 2nd place Tom Butler, 3rd went to Reubyn Ash,and 4th was Oli Adams. The whole weekend was a great sucsess and well done to Gul for sponsoring the event at the last minute!
